| About Life Saving Solutions, Inc. |
Life Saving Solutions, Inc. (LSS) was founded in 2003 by Jeff Zeiler. Originally
named “A Better Life Healthcare Products,” the company began as a Durable
Medical Equipment company providing Medicare Part B products to senior in a
different direction and negotiated an AED Distributorship with Philips Medical
Systems. After a few months, the company re-branded itself by changing the
name to Life Saving Solutions.
The first two customers for LSS were Summit County Ambulance Service and
Vail Resorts. Summit County was one of five Federal prototype programs to
study how to implement Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) Programs. Life
Saving Solutions won the RFP and gained its first potential customer, the
largest PAD program in Colorado.
Immediately following Summit County, LSS won Vail Resorts. It became readily
apparent that Vail Resorts needed assistance with their AED deployment and
thus LSS engaged its first consulting contract to help with their
implementation. It was that experience that gained LSS the insight that there
was a great need for service in the AED industry. LSS has since sought to
create a “service” industry where its competition markets and sells products. To
do so, LSS sought out the experts in AED Program implementations.
Federal Occupation and Health (FOH) was recognized as the authority in AED
deployments, having placed more than 2000 AEDs world wide for the federal
government. LSS hired an RN that was pivotal to that organization to bring the
“lessons learned” and help craft the Life Saving Solutions AED program. This
experience gained instant validation from the AED Manufacturers and is the
backbone for the LSS AED Program. The Policy & Procedures Manual that LSS
uses today was written and copyrighted in 2006.

United States. LSS has challenged the industry of AED sales by promoting
“true” Public Access Defibrillation Programs, writing site specific policy &
procedures, creating a complete AED management database and even inventing
products.
