Our Service Offerings
AED Program Oversight
Our AED program is based on Federal standard for AED programs where
more than 2000 AEDs were deployed world wide. Utilizing that unique
experience, we have tailored our program for the private sector, creating the
best AED program in the industry. We will write a site specific policy and
procedure manual detailing every step of your AED program. We then monitor
and update each individual customer and advise them when and how to adapt
their program.
Consulting
Need to roll-out your program? Need to assess what you can do today vs.
next year? We can fully plan your implementation from start to finish. We will
build a project plan that will be broken into phases that meet your budgeting
needs. We see organizations stall their AED programs because they truly
aren't sure where to start or how to prioritize their implementation.
Site Assessment
The proper placement of AEDs is critical to the success of an AED program.
Ineffective placement can delay or restrict the access to the AED and may
increase the potential for liability. Further, large programs often rely on site
analysis to reduce cost and to ensure maximum coverage during a multi-phase
and/or multi-year implementation
Medical Direction
AEDs are Class II A medical device requiring a prescription in the United
States. This means that a physician needs to write a prescription for the
device to be purchased and then write an order for how it will be used. Most
states require that the Medical Director then be responsible for the creation,
development, and quality of the AED Program. In addition, Medical Directors
are responsible for reviewing the information after an event. Life Saving
Solutions, Inc. provides Medical Direction nation wide.
Data Management
Life Saving Solutions, Inc. offers database management services so that
notification of expiring accessories or training will be sent to your program
manager. We track all brands of AEDs, the expiration dates of the
accessories, re-certification dates of the responders and inspections of the
AEDs. The database also tracks the serial numbers and location of the AED in
the unlikely even of a manufacturer recall. This data and e-notification system
is critical to a successful AED program.
Event Review
When an AED is used, the Medical Director must review the information as
recorded by the AED. The Medical Director will then write a report regarding
the event and provide the feedback as required by law and by the
manufacturers.
EMS Notification
Guidelines state that you notify local EMS that you have purchased an AED.
Life Saving Solutions, Inc. will notify your local EMS in writing with the
required information
AED Selection & Ongoing Support
AEDs are tools. Without the proper AED program, they are often not used
successfully. We help organizations select the proper equipment for their
environment by representing multiple AED manufacturers. After
implementation, we continue to follow your AED program, answer questions,
up-date policy & procedure, and notify you of changes that affect your
program.
